Sometimes the tasks you want your off the shelf applications to do, they simply refuse to do. Unfortunately, even though generic software packages have their benefits for business, their rigid nature and lack of customisability means they are not always the perfect fit.
At Modika we are passionate about developing websites and web based solutions that fit our clients. Our staff have been involved in a wide range of software development projects, from creating timesheets applications that integrates with an off the shelf account packages, to international multi site, customer and property management systems.
As with our approach to website design, we will undertake a rigorous discovery process to identify all of your requirements and ensure that we have identified every aspect of the software to be developed.
We understand that bespoke software is not always as widely accepted throughout a company as other more day-to-day applications. With this firmly in mind we feel that it is important to involve not just customer project managers in the requirements and design phase, but also the eventual users of the software. This allows us to produce an intuitive interface that will allow for greater acceptance when released.
The end of development does not end our commitment and involvement in the project. We will be there for the initial rollout of the software for any “hand holding” that may be required and for ongoing maintenance to support the software.
